    Brian, this was such a great video! In this age, everyone wants to just do EVERYTHING online, whether it be facebook, email, twitter, etc. What have been lost are the personal relationships that are made when speaking withg someone face to face. I meet with prospective clients and recruits all the time at my favorite coffee shop or the food court at the mall.

    Thanks for bringing us back to the reality that face-to-face still exists!

    Wow Brian! Pretty bold dude! That’s what I like about you….cutting edge. I certainly hope you didn’t come back with the Piggy flu. I’ve heard that that can take about a week to incubate before it breaks out with a vengeance, and during that time you’re totally contagious. I wish I’d have known before you went out, I do have a great product that will protect you from getting the Piggy flu and other nasty things like that. I guess that was my bad for not letting you know what I do. Sorry buddy. Good luck and I think it would be wise if we just talked via Skype for the next week or so….Maybe you’d like to join my business and be protected in the future. You can offer this to all those people that want to try your new marketing method. You’ll be rich before you know it!!

    Brian,

    What a great video….thanks for making me laugh & reminding us how we need to get out & meet people.

    I have meetings with people 2-3 a week & not only do I have a lot of fun, but I find it very rewarding & helpful. Why?
    1. I get to use the mirroring technique which I learned from Todd Falcone. It helps to get the person to relax a little.

    2. It helps me to really connect with that person, not only do they get to see my big smile, but by talking with them & listening to them I think about how I can connect them with someone.
    For example, let’s say I’m meeting with a realtor
    a. I might be able to introduce them to someone I know that wants to buy a house,
    b. I might be able to tell them about a networking group that’s looking for a realtor.

    The above helps me begin to build a relationship with that person!

    3. When I show my opportunity (last thing I do) I get to see their excitement or objections. This helps me figure out what next steps I might take.

    When I meet people at coffee shops I try to get there early or stay after so that I an talent scout & look for people that could be a good fit in my business.

    I talent scout everywhere I go whether I’m in the book store, at the restaurant where my networking group meets, the grocery store or even going through a toll booth like a did yesterday.

    For some people it’s a little scary at first…but as you & Todd Falcone say….if we want to be successful we need to step out of our comfort zones.

    When I’m talent scouting & meeting people; I always make sure I get THEIR contact info, which is much more important than me getting theirs!
