Recent things going on in the United States have me quite concerned about what’s happening, the government trying to install more control over us and nobody doing anything.

    Brian, unfortunately, this has been coming for a long time. And too many people are willing to give up their God-given, natural, constitutionally protected rights – their liberty – for security. You know as a former officer that you can’t provide security for the entire population. It’s my responsibility to protect my family and myself! Most people were all too willing to have the “Patriot” Act signed for our “security”. Then the National Defense Authorization Act came along which has now morphed into a sedition act by allowing indefinite detention of the citizens. My oath I swore when I joined the Army was to protect and defend the Constitution. I never gave up that oath. Anyway, I’m afraid too many people are afraid of their own freedom, their liberty and they believe it’s government’s responsibility to monitor your internet, put up surveillance cameras on every corner, or detain you for suspicion. I believe the only chance we have to take back our country is Ron Paul. Everyone should ask themselves why he’s marginalized by the media. Why are they afraid of his philosophy of liberty? Anyway, I join you in your anger! Where the people live in fear of government, tyranny rules.
